Legislators to Hold News Conference in Support of
Science in Motion Program
HARRISBURG -- State
legislators will hold a news conference highlighting the importance of the
award-winning "Science in Motion" program, as well as the need for legislation
(Senate Bill 414 and House Bill 1512) and continued funding for the program.
The event will be held Wed., May 3 at 10 a.m. in the Capitol's East Wing
Rotunda.
Among those expected to attend are Senate President
Pro Tempore Robert C. Jubelirer (R-30), Senator Bob Robbins (R-50), state
representatives, Dr. Lorraine Mulfinger, Director of Science in Motion, and Rick
Imler, AP Biology Teacher at Hollidaysburg High School & Siemens Foundation AP
Teacher of the Year.
