PA Alcohol Beverage Coalition to Rally
in Support of Underage Drinking Package
HARRISBURG -- Members
of the Pennsylvania Alcohol Beverage Coalition will join the four chairmen of
the Senate Law and Justice Committee and House Liquor Control Committee to voice
their support for a package of bills to address the growing problem of underage
drinking.
The event will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26 in the State
Capitol's East Wing Media Center.
Joining the coalition will be Senator John Rafferty, Senator Sean Logan,
Representative Ron Raymond, and Representative Robert Donatucci. The
legislators are leading the fight to pass a number of bills to combat alcohol
use by minors. These include a driver's license revocation for adults who
furnish alcohol to minors and increased penalties for selling or furnishing
liquor or malt beverages to minors resulting in injury or death.
